I was over at Maggie's today training for the 3 Peaks. We did a mix of trail and road running around the Roseland Peninsula. It was fairly muddy in parts and I realised I really need proper trail shoes for this challenge. At one point I went round a bend too fast and slided on the mud. Unable to stop, I slid straight into a mass of nettles and brambles. You should have seen the state of me! Covered in mud.

We passed 'Place House' (pictured) where Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise stayed a few years back. Also pictured is the King Harry Ferry that I took home.

I've recovered from my early morning exertions by eating biscuits and watching a tv prog about Pink Floyd.
