SATURDAY

Still wasn't feeling right when I got up Sat morning, but decided I would try and go for a run anyway. I did about 8/9miles but had to stop a few times. I guess I still wan't quite right. Went out rowing again in the afternoon. Did a bit better this week, the Cox was prompting me less and there was less splashback, but I did nearly lose a paddle at one point!

After rowing I went down to St Ives in the evening to meet a friend for a couple of drinks. It was nice to catch up and St Ives is really pretty by night. We meet there because it's a half way point between us, she lives in Penzance.

I've attached a picture of our new multi fuel burning fire for the living room. I have to call the company on Monday re delivery. On their website they quote a standard delivery charge to 'mainland UK' but say that excludes Cornwall..... and Scotland! That's the first I'd heard that we were no longer mainland! Have emailed Gary to ask whether he has any contacts that he could suggest that may be able to offer a good rate.
