Here are a couple of pictures from the weekend with Mum, Dad..... and Ross... Yeeha! He came! And here's the evidence to prove it. Both pictures were taken at the Blue Anchor Pub in Helston. The weather was much colder this time than previous visits (and the previous weekend) but as Craig says 'it's not bad weather it's bad clothing!' so we just wrapped up and headed out. We visited Praze-an-Beeble, Falmouth, Porthleven, Mithian and of course Mount Hawke.
I drove them back to Exeter on Monday morning, in the Peugeot. Everyone had had enough of sitting in the back of the Beetle. Dad especially, after he had banged his head pretty good when I went over a speedbump! Oops... sorry Dad.
I had no idea how to get to the airport, but we made it there without one wrong turn.... everyone helped by shouting out when they saw signs to the airport and it was well posted. It was quite a surprise to see all the frost and freezing fog as we headed out of Cornwall into Devon. We don't seem to really get the frost here. I didn't hang around at the airport for two reasons: I don't like saying goodbye and you only got 15mins free parking!
I had a group/ presentation to deliver that night in Bodmin, so I drove to there after the airport instead of going further down into Cornwall to go home. I had some time to kill in Bodmin so I went for a walk and did some studying before the group started at 6.30pm. Got home that night about 10pm.
Tuesday I worked and went to my running club in the evening. Wednesday I worked through the day and delivered another group at night. So here we are at Thursday.... I should be in Exeter at uni today, but my lecturer has had to go in for an op so I have the day off. I'm going to spend it working on my essay and then go for a run later tonight with the club.
I got some stick from Lucy for being slow with the blog...
I will update my blog more regularly
