The weekend

We had seen an open day advertised in the paper for a local outdoor adventure education centre. They were looking to recruit adventure instructors. Craig had submitted his C.V. and drove up there first thing Sat morning to participate, but was told when he got there that they were full! He was really disappointed as I think he really fancies the idea of working with kids outdoors. The woman has said that she'll keep his C.V. on file and I guess there may be other opportunities in the future. We'll just need to keep our eyes peeled.

I went rowing again on Saturday for the first time in a few weeks. I was the only novice there so I got plenty of advice from the Cox which will hopefully help. I think I might have been doing it better because I can feel it more in my arms now. I got invited for coffee after which was nice.

Yesterday was the first day that Craig had been at home after I had done a really long run. I did 20miles yesterday in the morning, but found it harder going than the last 20 I did. Maybe because I had the weekend off when mum and dad were down, or maybe it was a hillier course. Either way, I was pooped when I got back and spent most of the day sitting with my feet up! Craig assisted my recovery by bringing me endless drinks of water and digestive biscuits!

Today is supposed to be work from home day, but I've got peer supervision this morning, a meeting at the office this afternoon and Stress Buster tonight, so I need to say goodbye for just now and get dressed...... hope you all had a good weekend

Kxx
