Because we finished later than I expected, I was almost late for my presentation at the social anxiety group that evening. Maggie invited me to her house to shower after we'd been out, but I had to decline as I didn't think I'd make it in time. I stopped to change out of my running gear in the near by Asda. I spent the rest of the evening sitting as far away from everyone as I could and pulling the hems on my trousers down- hoping that no-one would catch sight of a muddy ankle!!! Classy :)

Here is a picture of Pendower Beach. It's on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall- often known as the Champagne Coast because of all the wealthy locals and incomers who live there. The picture was taken on Monday am before we started the training for the 3Peaks Challenge. I met the group around 10am and we walked/run til 5.30pm.
The pace was slow enough that I didn't feel over exerted at any point during the day. But the next morning the sides of my buttocks ached!! (Insert your own joke here) With all the hills I must have been using muscles I don't use as much when I'm running.
