Its been another lovely day here in the South West- warm, dry and sunny! I managed to stay at uni long enough for most of the final induction day today, but drew the line at the time management lesson. So a few of us who think we know how to manage our time went into Plymouth city centre for some retail therapy. I had to buy some tweezers as I loaned mine to mum at the weekend and forgot to get them back. I'd managed the whole week without out them, but I thought it was probably time to get more when I heard passersby question whether I was related to the Gallager brothers! I went a bit OTT and bought new perfume (the new Gucci one) and two new tops. I justified it though by buying the cheapest tweezers I could find.

Afterwards we headed back to the flat owned by one of the girls who I'll be studying with. It was amazing, seven floors up in the centre of Plymouth. The flat has a balcony that overlooks the marina. Next to the building is a disused relic of a church, which was apparently bombed in the Second World War.

Tonight, I might try and figure out how to use all the new technology that my work have been giving me. We've all been issued with new work mobile phones (I'll give you all the new number soon) laptops and dongles. Craig is going fishing with his friend, Simon, the fisherman. So I'm told to expect the 'spoils of the ocean!'

Craig received a speeding ticket this morning from our journey up to Scotland last week. It says we were doing 80mph in a 70mph zone- in Dumfries (Craig was probably just trying to get through before anyone remembered him!- but he thinks it could have been me). Can we contest it if we don't know who was driving at that point? It says they have photographic evidence- but I guess that may have been from behind.
