So we're back in Cornwall. We left Banchory at 5.40am and got home to 'The Hawke' at 4.10pm. The journey was fine. We stopped twice for fuel/ toilet breaks- but apart from that kept going non-stop. It was a nice day in Cornwall when we returned, but we were so tired we just headed for bed and a snooze. I got up later to watch 'The Restaurant' a TV show with the celebrity chef, Raymond Blanc. And then another foodie proramme, Celebrity Masterchef.

Today, I'm working in Redruth- so I get to cycle to work. The rest of the week I'm on training again- so I'll need to take the car again. Still no contact from the Oz people, so I guess I'm starting this course in Plymouth. That means that I definitely won't be going to Oz this year. The earliest I can go now will be June, when the course finishes. I'm a bit disappointed, because I had hoped to go before that (I had secretly been hoping that we might be able to go in November, and stop off at the Lesina's for Thanksgiving). But, I can't wait around and do nothing hoping that they will contact me. It seems strange that I've had no contact though.... I wonder why??

Anyway, the course this year will qualify me to a higher level and I'm lucky to get on the course. Once qualified, I'll be on the same NHS banding as Clinical Psychologists. I'd always thought about doing that training one day- but if I will already be earning the same I think I'll have less motivation to do the 3yr Doctorate. I'm thinking though, that this is definitely the last course I'll be doing for some time (have you heard that from me before?!).

Ok, so I better go. Lycra to don. Patients to see this afternoon.

Happy Tuesday!
