Thanks for teling me how to adjust the music default programme Dad. I think it has done the trick. Unfortunately, I can't tell because we are now getting no sound out of the computer at all! AARRGGH! Nothing. I've just looked at a help forum though and I wonder if the problem could be connected to the installation of the skype webcam. According to the website that I was viewing, it is possibe that the computer confuses this as the default sound device and then bypasses the other speakers. If this is the case, then installing an update should solve the problem. So I think I'm going to try that. Then I should be able to see if your advice has worked!

Thanks also for the advice with the skype. Those tips that you recommended were what I have been trying. And on this occasion, are not working- which is a bit annoying. Any other ideas?
