Gary- I was reading the Sunday Times this week and came across their quotes of the week section. There was one by Sir Richard Branson that caught my eye and made me think of you. He is apparenntly part of the Patients Association and quoted some statistics about hospitals that I thought may be of interest: If you fly in an aeroplane there is a one in ten million chance that you will die, going into hospital in the UK you have a one in three hundred chance of dying, and that's not from the thing you went in with....

Does that help with your anxiety about flying, or just make your anxiety about going into hospital worse..?

Been at uni today, still determinedly trying to cycle everywhere rather than taking my car. Got soaked on the way back, but thats at least better than on the way there. I caved in last night and took my car when I went to meet my friend Bex for tea. Having no mud guards on my bike, I didn't fancy arriving with muddy puddle splatters on my face and up my backside! Its not a good look. We ended up going to a local pizza place for tea- which was good. It was in Hayle, the town where my running club is based. So as I sat and stuffed my face with the extra cheese, I saw my group run past the window. I didn't know whether to smile and wave or try and hide behind my glass of diet coke in shame!

We have Craig's sister coming down tomorrow for a week. She's driving down, so I think we are expecting her late tomorrow evening. I hope the weather stays dry for her visit. Its gonna be pretty squashy in here whilst she is down. Our seagrass carpets arrived today and they need to stay in the house and 'acclimatise' for the next few days. Apparently, such materials can shrink/ grow depending on I guess the temperature of your home. The fitter is coming on Monday to eventually lay them. I'll be glad when he does- I'm having visions of pulsating carpet taking over my house!

I've still to look at the villas you highlighted on your blog dad, but I intend to do that tonight and will give you my vote.
