I've got another easy day today- no need to be in a surgery, so am getting on with paperwork at home (er, ahem! just in case my boss ever reads this!). I would have gone for a long run, but the weather is so rubbish that I can't face it. We have driving wind and rain today. Marvellous! Who's idea was it to move to this God Forsaken Place! I'm a mile from the Atlantic Ocean with nothing in between my little bungalow and the wind from the sea. I feel like we're taking off sometimes!

Anyway, plans are afoot for getting the multifuel burner fitted. Craig's chum/ work colleague can do these things apparently and has arranged to come round on Saturday to have a look at it. Yeeha! I can't wait to get it fitted and have marshmallows and baked potatoes every night for tea.

Talking about food we have a big bit of unidentified meat sitting defrosting in the fridge at the moment. I think Craig might be hoping I will do something with it today. Hmm. I guess he's getting sick of scrambled eggs on toast for tea, or my other speciality beans on toast (with or without the cheese- he gets the choice!). I know... I should probably stop spoiling him.

Just heard the cat flap again. He's so adaptable my cat :) I hope he hasn't taken in the little vole that I was just watching him volly about the garden :(
